About Fida International

Working together for hope and the future 

Fida International is a Finnish faith-based organisation focused on sustainable development, humanitarian response, missions, and secondhand initiatives.

Working closely with local churches and other NGOs, we aim to bring hope and a brighter future to all—especially to children living in poverty. We provide humanitarian aid in crisis areas and respond to natural disasters.

In partnership with trusted local organisations, Fida stands with those in need, supporting the rights of children and young people and empowering communities to build a brighter future.

Founded in 1927 by the Pentecostal churches of Finland, Fida has a long history of serving communities around the world.

One of Finland’s largest secondhand chains

In Finland, Fida is known for its chain of Fida Secondhand Shops. This is one of the largest secondhand chains in the country. Fida shops support Fida International’s work abroad and promote ethical consumption and the circular economy.
